I do not have much use for a fridge in Vegas because I do not drink alcohol. The only reason I would want to save something in my fridge is if I had food I wanted to save for later. But then I do not see the use of a fridge if there is no microwave or stove or something (unless there are obscure usable microwaves for use in public places I don't know about lol).

What are you using your fridge for?

Ohhhh.....I seeee! Very true. I do get very thirsty for water in the evenings and mornings and there is none around, requiring me to go expend effort and resources lol.

    Great, I will remember that.

Breakfast! I am not good in the morning, especially when the night didn't end until 4am. Having some breakfast foods in the fridge has been a savior too many times. And healthy snacks.

Sonya, the breakfast foods do not need to me warmed? Do you somehow warm them or are these also things you do not mind eating cold?

Yogurt, fruit salad, hard boiled eggs, Lara Bars, hummus & pita chips, veggie sticks, etc. I don't heat any of those.

That is a very interesting use. I am finally understanding the acceptability of a fridge with no microwave.

    Thanks everyone.

Not a thing. If the room has one it never gets touched.

Soda water fruit yogurt. We stay for 6/7 days...think about it....6 diet pepsi's from the gift shop at $3 a piece is $18 for a 6 pack of soda! We always rent a car now, so we stop for water, soda, fruit and snacks. I pack throw away spoons and forks in the bathroom bag to have in the room. At night watching tv and first thing in the morning I have to have my soda. I don't drink coffee.

If you have a fridge you can also have some cereal and milk on hand (provided you have a cup or bowl to put it in). When I have stayed at VDara they provide coffee and a Keurig coffeemaker and there is a full kitchen with large stainless steel fridge. I have done the cereal thing many times and that way I can eat something quickly, shower and get ready for the day.

It is perfect for storing water (buying a case of water at CVS is pretty cheap), soda and assorted snacks. Plus if you wanted to chill a bottle of wine to have in the room, you could do that as well. Oh, and leftovers. Sometimes you just can't finish everything on a plate (ie, Hash House a Go Go) and it is a shame to just toss out perfectly good food.

Beer, Gatorade, water, possible leftovers but I normally give them to the homeless. Mainly Gatorade though, I get very dehydrated out there!
