    Guys,

I'm heading in vegas next month with my cousin and the last time we were in town we stayed at the Bellagio. The host there was able to give us a 2 bedroom suite (no lake view) with all the free food and drinks we could consume along with VIP wristbands, free tickets to show etc... What I did not like was that the host was never there to greet us for the first time visiting bellagio and I had to find my way to the VIP checkin which was hiding in the corner somewhere on the lobby floor. We usually tip our host here in the east coast the moment we step in when they greet us and check in. Worst of all the host never thought of giving us our MLIFE cards when we checked in so we had to go to the mlife booth and get it ourselves. Throughout the trip we had to work with 3 - 4 different hosts for reservations, foood and tickets... Maybe thats just the way hosts are in vegas but over here in eaast coast when we're on a good run we tip our host anywhere from 500 - 1k+ but he takes care of us and everything we need.

Anyways my question here is do anyone here know a host that can give us any better treatment and that actually cares? We're good with rating at CET properties since we play in AC. Our bank roll this time will be around 70-80k cashin total (hoping we don't need to use any marker). Let me know.

To start out with - not sure if the host knew you, as it appears you had not been to MGM before. You were lucky in that they gave you the VIP treatment without actually seeing what kind of money you were going to play.

Now that you are in the system, and assuming your play is not that old, I would guess you would get a bit better treatment.

Hosts seem to be in short supply these days though. As to the thing about getting a players card. Not sure if that is so bad. After all, it appears they knew very little about you. They need to see an ID to get you in the system, etc. Hosts get calls from people "claiming" to be big ass spenders all the time. How do they figure out who is for real?

Have you talked with CET to see what they will do? Guessing you are at least Diamond, if not 7 star?

Yes well I thought it would be pretty obvious to already assume the host is not new and just decided to give us a suite and thousands worth of food, drinks and tickets without checking our rating with other casinos first. Anyways, my point of the post is to try to fish any host that is willing to accomodate and give us a good trip next month. Although it might sound a bit far fetched but people know people out there :)
