Do you have machines that you play every single trip without fail? Even if you don't win much, just for the pure enjoyment of the slot?

Mine are Davinci Diamonds, Hangover (every single time), Ghostbusters (I like the old and new one), Planet Moolah, Gone with the Wind (if I can find one), any Elvis slot and my husband loves Dirty Dancing, although the only place we could find it recently was DT.

Never had a hand pay with any of these (come to think of it, I've never had a hand pay) but they are a lot of fun. Hangover is still probably my favorite. Last time we were at Monte Carlo they had one with a max bet of $2.00 to play all 4 screens.

Mine is "Triple Play" - an old reel slot. Based on slot locators, looks like the only place in town that has one left is Sam's Town. Will be making a special trip over there to play my old favorite. Hopefully I can find it at one of the coin in places downtown as well.:blowkiss:

I notice a bunch of Aristocrat games rather than WMS - what is the reason? I'm just curious because in my experience I find those games extremely boring with very low payline hit payouts. I hardly ever can last long enough to see a bonus so I've never had any luck on them at all. I must be doing something wrong!

Try La Bayou. All coins...several oldies but goodies. One of the only places we found the old 3 reel quarter Elvis machines. Hope they are still there!

Life of Luxury, the Best Things in Life version and Siberian Storm.

Life of Luxury is getting harder to find, but a few places still have them.

    Not me....I'm an IGT chick!

I'm finding the newer WMS games provide little opportunity to win much of anything.....although, I do love Willy Wonka. The top symbols for WMS games usually don't pay more than 500 credits and maybe 1000 credits.

I play slots sporadically, so I don't think I've had a must slot for any Vegas trip. But the slot that easily comes the closest (at least >50% of trips) is "Texas Tea". It was the only slot I remember playing from my first Vegas trip in 2001. If I am at Luxor, I have to play the gigantic one.

I had 8 hand pays at my local casino last year... all were on Aristocrat machines.

I will say that their graphics often look dated and their use of music and sound effects is not the best and of pretty low quality, but for game play their games usually have enough volatility that allows the player to have the occasional really big win but then not so volatile that the machine just sucks up money.

By comparison, most of the machines WMS has been putting out in the past 5 years have been so volatile that the machines do little more than just suck up your money and give you little play for your dollar... like with WMS games it is sometimes very easy to go 20, 30 or more spins in a row where you either win nothing or if you do win something its for less than your original bet.

Cashman....although due to its age (I think it came out around 2002), it's getting harder to find. I usually can find it at the "local" casinos, such as the Stations, Suncoast, etc.
