I keep seeing offers / prices that state they are not valid on "the holidays"

Does this just mean the USA national public holidays ?

    Got this list from Wikipedia

    Day Date Holiday
Tuesday January 1 New Year's Day
Monday January 21 Birthday of Martin Luther King, Jr.
    Monday February 18 Washington's Birthday
    Monday May 27 Memorial Day
    Thursday July 4 Independence Day
    Monday September 2 Labor Day
    Monday October 14 Columbus Day
    Monday November 11 Veterans Day
    Thursday November 28 Thanksgiving Day
    Wednesday December 25 Christmas Day

    Thanks

Pretty sure they can decide to use whatever "holidays" they feel like using. I would not expect any "standard".

I would also expect sometimes even with those disclaimers, offers will be honored. Anything can happen.

And of course, it all depends on what sort of offers you are looking at. Which offer and which holiday?

I'm expecting higher buffet prices on Mother's Day.

Sunset Station would not take a buffet BOGO on Christmas Eve. Said it was a holiday.

    American Holidays

Most popular holidays are Christmas, New Years, Thanksgiving and Mother's Day.

I always make sure to stay home for Mother's Day because I would feel real guilty if I don't visit my old mother for Mom's Day. She is in her 90's.

When Vegas Hotels get desperate for clients they will advertise specia
    on American Holidays.

Think about it.... most people want to stay home for Christmas unless they take their family members to Vegas for Christmas.

Cinco de Mayo is a Mexican-American Celebration. Mexico doesn't celebrate that day. But Las Vegas does celebrate it just to attract clients.
