I had a good time playing 9/6 JoB last trip at the Boar's Head Bar at MSS. I forgot to check out the other games and was wondering what the paytables/house edges are for them.

    Thanks!

Not nearly as good. I think for quarters, most other games were 97%+ games with a progressive attached, I know DDB is 9/5 (97.87%+prog).

The only exceptions to these poorer games I think are 9/6 JoB (99.54%) and 9/7 Double Bonus (99.11%).

Tringlomane is right about the other games being a little sub-par. I played some BP there earlier this week, because the progressive was higher than normal and I wanted to last as long as possible. I remember complaining to the bartender that the paytable, 7/5, was not as good as it used to be. I thought it used to be 8/5, but I don't play it that game that often at MSS so I just might not have remembered correctly from before.

That's too bad. I really enjoyed my late night and first thing in the morning sessions but was hoping I could mix it up on my next trip because after a while I feel like a robot playing JoB. Either way I guess I can't complain:beer:

Not my game, but the last time I updated my spreadsheet in 2010, it was 7/5 at the bartops for BP. It is 8/5 at Suncoast & Orleans.

It's definitely not as good paying as 9/6 JoB, but 9/7 Double Bonus would make you less of a robot. Holding things like AJ8 of hearts would wake me up anyway. :evillaugh

    BP

There are also eight 8/5 25 cent BP machines at the Golden Nugget, sort of in the middle near the front (near their "party pit" tables). That's what I play when I'm staying there and don't feel like wandering.

VPFree is a great resource. The database for Vegas is generally pretty current. Pay tables, denominations, number, location and type of VP machines, searchable by type or by casino.
