Lets say you can only choose 2 trips to Vegas per year, but it has to be 6 months apart.

What two months would you choose?

As in at least 6 months apart?

    May and December.

I love the weather in May; I get to explore Vegas more because of favorable weather; and I have more free time then.

December because rates are low. Also, I also have free time then.

If it has to be exactly six months apart, then I am picking March and September. If it can't be less than six months apart, I am going with march and October.

March is the best month in Vegas because of MM. Even if you are not a basketball fan, MM brings a ton of energy to the Strip and its last more than one or two days like most other Strip events or holidays

Absolutely! Our one set-in-stone trip each year is opening week of March Madness in Las Vegas. My second trip would be in October for the desert marathon/half-marathon.

Right on. Hopefully we can meet up again this March. Let's hope UK and KU don't play one another. That might get nasty :grrr:

Ditto with Joe and Jamon.....Apr and Oct and have been doing it that way for years. Every now in then we'll back it off to Mar. for March Madness, but not often.

March/April and October. I like to go then because the buffoons gather then, but the weather is good and prices aren't insane like they are in May (my favorite weather month).

I bet these two scenarios provide some really nice weather.

We may be doing December next year for my wife's birthday so this may work out great. Not too concerned about room rates as we tend to get free rooms.

I think this is what we may end up doing because our last trip was Aug so doing Jan and Aug keeps us in the 6 month rotation.

Although the March/May and Sept/Oct should produce outstanding weather, that would mean waiting too long for the next trip.

If I am looking for nice weather (more my g/f's thoughts), April and October.

Cheap and better live non-holdem poker action (more my thoughts), June and December.

We have taken zero trips in Apr. or Oct.; three trips in June or Dec.

I will say Feb/Aug because for some reason, most of my trips have been in August. Coincidentally, every single trip I have been on has had weather no higher than 85 degrees. Crazy.

For me April/Oct....I was there in the spring this year and returning Oct 29th. We have been at other times but find the summer TOO hot. I refuse to go on vacation if it requires a winter coat. I go on vacation to NOT be cold. I am one of those always cold type people.
