Ok so out of pure lack of something to do I watched some episodes of this today.

What a bunch of wankers. They go around like bunch of spoiled children and when the targets of their attacks defend themselves they act like innocent little pukes.

I hope a whale jumps on their ship and capsizes them.

I used to watch that show but I don't anymore because I feel sorry for the whales and I feel angry for the Japanese for killing the whales.

Japan is killing the whales for food. They need to feed their people.

I am on the side of the Whale lovers but at the same time I understand that
Japan has to feed their loved ones. So I don't watch the show anymore.

I like the Japanese people. I studied the Japanese language just for fun in college for one year. Sayonara, Aiimasho, Dewamata ato de, Lucy

    Some people are funny.

When was the last time you heard of cows. pgs or chicken being eaten into extinction? never happens because of responsible management of them.

not the same with fish though. seems that people are happy to eat their fill until they are gone and then wonder why they cant get them anymore.

I think the harvesting of whales is just like the culling of any other animal. if done responsibly it will help the species, not hurt it.

These whale wars people are the same group that would be out there complaining about hunting deer.

Same group that eat fish into extinction and not bat an eye.

it is often said the fastest way to get something off the endangered list is to put it on the menu

to that degree the Oryx and several other similar African animals that are endangered were imported into Texas and several other states many years ago for the purpose of building up a population for hunting

just recently some anti-hunting idiots got a rule passed where species that are endangered in their native lands are to be treated as endangered in the USA as well even if they are highly managed........the vast majority of landowners had sales on hunting those animals just this year and shot out all they could and many are going to either release the few they have left (actually illegal) or stop giving them supplemental food or possibly ship them back to Africa where they will probably be killed coming off the boat

the "activist" are fully aware this would happen, but they don't care because now the hunting is over

another story I heard before (can't remember the source, but I am pretty sure it is true) is there was some big formal meeting of the "save the" types and Jacques Cousteau was one of the guest......someone looked at the menu and there was some endangered sea species on the list and that person ask what to do about it since Jacques Cousteau was going to be there and they were told not to worry he is French he eats anything and apparently he ate it all like it was anything else

I think Jacques Cousteau was a good level headed guy, but these groups today are just ridiculous

    you could take him!

as far as the OP, i've watched a couple of eps and wanker is the perfect word for these people. i'm all for protecting the environment and wildlife and stuff, but they are really off the deepend in so many ways. so i don't like them, but i can't say i really like what the japanese whalers are doing either, so basically i don't like anybody on the show. no reason to watch.

That is a decent summary, its crazy vs. crazy. The Paul guy that is the leader has that crazy look in his eye like he wants to kill someone. I am not for the slaughter of animals, but this seems way overboard. (no pun intended)

I don't want to kill off a species and frankly I have not taken the effort to inform myself from unbiased sources. I know the Japanese (and many others) have been eating whale meat for a long time. I know their populations are reduced. In between there is a solution.

However these wankers are doing their 'best'???? to injure the people on board the Japanese vessels, damage the ships, board the vessels - and they act like it is a sin against humanity that the Japanese are protecting their lives, property, and 'research' efforts.

Whale Whores episodes was awesome but I loved it more for end when they told Japanese that chicken and cow were responsible for the atomic bomb.

We watch the show but always record it.
Although its a hour long show, there is minimal to little action.
We can fast forward and watch only 10 minutes of a 60 minute show.
If we couldn't do it we wouldn't be watching.
