    Main Characters:
    Bride & Groom-K&B
    Son & DIL-R&S
    Grandson-Ben
    Sunni & Buddy

    Second marriage for both K&B

Tues.Sept 18th. Grabbed a couple of breakfast sandwiches on the way to Fort Myers airport. AirTran to Atlanta to Vegas. Checked in and terminal was right across from BK. Munched on some fries and good to go. Nobody in middle seat so we could spread out. Had to run to catch connecting flight, they were boarding already. No time to get some more food, good thing I had all those snacks with me. Full flight. This Big Mama sits next to me and throws her leather coat over her like a blankie and promptly falls asleep.Umm excuse me you are in my space..three total strangers in front of us did not shut up for 3 hours of getting to know all about you. Take a nap people. Landed 35 min early, our Limo driver was a very pretty Blonde named Diane with a great personality, she got a $ 20.00 tip. did the airport check-in for Flamingo. I just asked for a room as high as you can..
first score . Room 26144 facing the strip. View of Caesars , Mirage and Bellagiao fountains. Room was just fine. It was done in Beige & Greens. The bathroom needs to be updated. Off to Bill's to catch Big Elvis. Hooked up with K&B and Coaster Kikky. I think Kikky is going to post a couple of pics and report on our little get-together, That will tell you about the rest of the day .Great meeting you Becky !
Computer is kicking me out, so I will have to separate this and post it while I still can...to be continued....

I'll fill in the blanks a bit.. after Elvis we caught a bit of the Bellagio fountains. Kikky was starving and I was about done...had about 8 drinks and only lost 20 bucks. We decided to take a taxi from Bally's to Ellis Island. Fare was under $5 bucks but he got a $5 buck tip . There was an hour wait. We gambled until we got seated. We all got the $ 6.95 steak special. It was very good , can't beat that deal. I was practically falling asleep on my plate. :snore: Got a taxi back from the 7/11 store next to EI. Better post this before I lose it...

    Wedding day2 short version

Computer is acting up...so the rest will be short versions.
Up early.About 3 hours sleep. Was kept awake by drums, amplifliers from Pure even on the 26th floor.Bud got coffee and pastry for us. The rest of the 22 guests arriving today.Kids are at Caesars Augustus Tower . Nice rooms , marble bathroom. Direct view of Bellagio fountains. R & pregnant DIl and Ben decide to go to Forum shops for lunch and hit the pool. We opt for Nathan's jumbo hot dogs( love them) at Flamingo and off to Bally's where I was holding my own on slots.Win some and donate it back..Bud is on a roll ..lose..lose...lose on Vp which continued the whole trip. K & B are doing wedding stuff. When they got to the courthouse to get their license, there was news people and cameras everywhere. Yup, OJ was in court. We went back to BC caught Elvis again and headed back to get ready for tonight.
Four us us went to Mystere. good seats. sec 202 row dd seats 11-14.
I'm not a big cirqe de solei fan (sp) but enjoyed the show. Decided to try Canter's deli at Ti for a bite to eat after the show. I got pastrami on rye with cole slaw. Bud had corned beef, r had patty melt and nephew had turkey. Sandies were huge and delish. I would definetly go back. Off to Caesars...
    to be continued.....:peace:

About 15 of us met at Caesars. We had one whole section of the bar to ourselves. The booze was flowing , some were playing Vp, slots and there was so much joking and laughing going on ...we were all :drunk: Really fun time with family & friends ,good memories. Not too bad 2:30 bedtime.

Sorry this report is broken into pieces ..

    Wedding- The Big Day

Finally.Hooked up with the kids at Bally's to get tix for Jubilee and Price is right.
R & S and Ben were off to M&M world, MGM lion exhibit and Circus Circus for the day. Gotta keep the little guy entertained..we took K & B to breakfast at sidewalk cafe . Good food, how can you screw up breakfast anyway.
K was off to the salon to get her hair done. We hung out and kept the donations to the casinos going. Time to get gussied up for the ceremony.
We had a five o'clock bus pick up time. Made stops at Ceasars and MGM for all the guests. Little Church of the West was quite charming. It's a quaint stand alone chapel. The bride and groom looked fantastic, our little guy Ben walked his Auntie down the aisle...he also had on a tux. Too cute for words. Ceremony was simple and well done. Bride & Groom went in limo and we all went on the bus to Maggianos. Private room and the menu is posted somewhere in the wedding section here. Food and service was excellent.
Good time was had by all. I started drinking Manhattens and by the end of the night.....oops..what happens in Vegas...stays in Vegas. That's all I can say about that.
    Day after :
    I. Am. Not. Well. One of those days you need greasy food. ha. Off to O'sheays,(SP) got a breakfast sandwich and settled in on a WOF machine. Up to about 650 quarters...gave some back and cashed out. Bud is still on a roll..losing. Kids are off doing God knows today, It's all a little foggy. Heh.We are babysitting tonight so the kids can go to dinner and Love at Mirage. We were running late and ran into sidewalk cafe at Bally's for a quick bite. Food and service was awful. Stick to breakfast at this place. Kids had a great night out and we had some nice quality time with Ben. He is such a good kid..They got back about 12;30 and we headed back to base.Played awhile and we were wiped out about 2 a.m.
I better post this before I lose it....don't know if the mods can kinda put it all together ?

    Wedding- day 4

Thank You for merging the threads Hoya. I was hoping a mod would help out.

Sat. 8 a.m. WTF is that ! rrrrrrrr Hotel Fire alarms going off. Pulled on jeans & top and looked in the hallway. everybody had their heads out the door wondering if this is for real. No smoke, no fire trucks...some people heading for the stairs already. Good God. Grabbed my 2 purses and was ready to roll. Not looking forward to going down 26 flights of stairs...legs and back are aching already...tough getting old...ha.finally they announce that they are investigating the alarm. Investigating ? Shiat on this, I'm getting out of dodge.
Then the announce they have found the source and sorry for the inconvenience. Whew. That will wake you up. Had breakfast and hooked up with our son & Ben.Wandered through the tropical gardens at Flamingo, then Ben wanted to see Nana & Papa's room. They were going to Price is Right today . We hopped the shuttle over to Rio. Only stayed about an hour. I just didn't like the vibe over there. Back to Bally's ,Flamingo & Bill's. to continue our generous donations to the casinos. Bride & Groom were hanging by the pool today. Some guests were leaving Vegas today. tonight 6 of us are going to Jubilee. uh-oh , got a call. Ben has a 102 temp. gave him tylenol and he is in his pj's sound asleep. Poor little guy picked up something plus he was exhausted from all the excitement. He slept for 12 hours...he is home and just fine now. Back to Jubilee..We did the Bally's buffet before the show. I'm not a big fan of buffets, I go directly to the carving stations. Prime rib, mashies, veggie and salad plus desert and I'm good. The rest said the food was just ok.
We all enjoyed Jubilee. I like all that glitz and glamour ...reminds me of old Vegas. After the show we all said goodbye and talked about what a great time was had by all. Bride & Groom are still in Vegas, We came home Sunday night and are still exhausted. This trip was great fun, food & family..
    sidenotes
    Never did make it downtown
Noticed in front of Bill's about 100 21 yr. olds sitting on the ground drinking late Friday night..
didn't like the vibe at Rio

I do have a few pictures to post if I could e-mail them to a mod ..that would be great....thanks for reading..

    Random afterthoughts

Most Jubilee showgirls have small boobies and you can tell the fake ones.
Jubilee showmen all have nice butts.
45 min. to get to security checkpoint at airport.
    $1,100 donated to casinos.
    comped about $100 in food.
    Room was $ 185 total for 5 nights ( 3 comped)
POV coupons were put to good use...thanks again Kikky
Ken's book helped decide the chapel.
Noticed big influx of young people on the weekend.
Never made it downtown or the peppermill.
Would recomend Little Church Of The West and Maggianos for a small function.
Don't know when I'll get back to Vegas....
    Thanks for reading.
