I get the impression this game is not that big of a deal in vegas. I'll be out there, and was wondering how early I needed to be in certain books to get a good seat.

Lagasse is booked, and I'm staying at PHo, but not married to watching the game there.

    Also, do hosts reserve seats?

    Thanks in advance

This game is still a pretty big deal in Vegas. It was better in the old days when the big bowl games were concentrated on New Years Day. I love NCAA football but it's difficult to stay interested with the current drawn-out schedule.

5:30 kickoff out there and a slow day for ponies, prolly just a couple of NBA, NCAAB games. Should be pretty easy to get a seat mid-afternoon, I'd guess. Casino VP bars are also a good option. Maybe even Blondie's if you're at Planet Holly.

    Good luck!

Not a big fan of blondies, but thank you for the suggestion. Was thinking more along the lines of a legit book.

It was not a big deal at all last time I was in Vegas for it.

I'm considering the former LV Hilton, if they open their theater as they do for NFL games. Or maybe just asportsbook.
