I've got a group of 6-7 guys and we want to watch some serious football. I've heard that in the past the Flamingo shows NFL games in a showroom.

Do they still do that? Just for NFL or NCAA too? Is there a fee to get in? Any drink and food specials?

I remember that the IP did something similar. Do they still do that with all of the construction going on?

The sports books are ok if you get there early but the TV situation isn't always as good as you'd think. Many people see all of those tvs and are disappointed to learn that 2/3 of them are dedicated to the race book.

Are there any other places to go and watch football besides a sportsbook? Maybe the Long Bar at the D?

What kind of place are you looking for? A bar?, VP bar? Right in the casino?

I've always found Blondies at Planet Hollywood an awesome place to watch games.

We're open to anything. A place with decent priced drinks, a sportbook within walking distance to get halftime or other last minute bets in and TVs dedicated to NCAA and NFL football.

Take for instance the Mirage Sportsbook. Looking at it you'd think its be great. The only issue is that the majority of the screens are horse racing.

A conference room or show room like the IP did (does) sounds like fun. But we're open to most anything.
