With the passing of James Garner ( and his "Maverick" TV series ) ---
One of my golfing buddies and I spent a couple holes discussing
the old Warner bros. TV westerns :
    Sugar Foot
    Bronco Layne ( I guess, I NEVER watched this one ? )
We threw in a couple others that weren't W Bros ---
    Wagon Train
    Have Gun Will Travel
    The Rebel
But I was floored by "Bronco Layne" ?........I didn't remember it AT ALL ?
My buddy didn't know the actor's name ( Ty Hardin ) but was describing the actor
"He was the German pretending to be a GI - in the movie "Battle Of The Bulge".
    I couldn't come up w/ the actor's looks, still.
    I said, "I'll google him."
    I did today.
Ty Hardin was a stage name.
He has a VERY Germanic real name
But this guy - after his acting career died off --- look out !
He was married 8 times !!!!!!!.......EIGHT !!!!??????
An early wife was a "Miss Universe".....not too shabby !
    But the guy...........was/is strange........
    Started the "Arizona Patriots" ---
An anti-gov't - weapons stocking - ethnic hating - loose organization.
With the actor's German descent........it was bit of a "cringe moment" for me.
    Man ?.........you never know ?
And I gotta tell my golfing buddy about this !

    Yeh --
We talked about the Steve McQueen series --
I couldn't remember the name of it ( Wanted : Dead or Alive ! )
He carried a sawed off rifle.
    Hugh O'Brian - I didn't watch him --
    I did watch "Yancy Derringer".
There were so many westerns back then.
Shoot 'em in the studio back lots - out there in LA.
