I'll be in LV during the marathon on Dec. 2nd with my sister and my 85 year young mom. We are staying at Harrah's and we'll need to go from there to the Palm restaurant in the Forum shops for a 5PM dinner reservation. What would be the shortest walk; using the overhead crosswalk outside of Bill's or Venetian?

I'm figuring a 30 minute walk with my mom, but would want to take the shortest possible route.

Chess, can't do....we'll be going there during the marathon...they say the whole strip will be shut down to traffic and people walking across the strip during the race.

Looking at a map, it looks like both walkways are relatively the same distance away. I am guessing the route north would be less congested.

with the construction on the old IP you will want to avoid the walk between Harrahs and Bills as much as possible. we were there at the end of October and it was a total cluster.

Take the crosswalk from Bill to CPs.
