    Hi,

I am planning a trip for a group of us and one of the group is mobility impaired, and has trouble getting out of bath tubs so I am looking for hotels that have walk in showers. It is not really clear by looking at the websites which hotels actually have walk in showers. Does anybody know which hotels have walk in showers?

p.s. - I am going to also post this in the Downtown and Off-Strip Hotels section as well as we will have vehicles.

    Thanks,
    Bob

Not sure exactly how far off the strip you are willing to go, but Aliante has walk-in showers in their standard rooms. The hotel overall is a beautiful facility, but it is far off the beaten path. We have stayed there the past two years, and DH is sad we aren't staying there this next trip.

Mirage resort tower rooms have them, bellagio rooms have them as we'll.

Most websites have PDFs of the room layouts and you can see if they have a sep shower.

I had a corner king room at Hard Rock in Feb and the shower was a walk in. I bet you could get about 6 people in it, too.

I've stayed in rooms at Golden Gate that have been remodeled with really cool, big, walk-in showers. I'm thinking there might be a small step up to them but I can't remember for sure.

About half the rooms at Gold Coast have walk-in showers. Rooms have recently been remodeled and are quite nice

Most hotels will have a walk in shower if you ask for an accessible room. These rooms will not have a tub at all ans the shower is actually a "roll in" - be careful of regular rooms as their showers can have a 4-8" step up in to the stall.

Most places have them. I've seen them at MGM for sure.

    Roll-in Showers at "The D"

I called The D's 800 number and they said they have 4 rooms with roll in showers... their rooms are very nice and big enough to use an electric cart in the room. Good Luck!

It isn't downtown, but Excalibur and Paris to my knowledge have this for all their rooms.
