I've been hearing stories of folks waiting hours to get into this place but I was hoping to go before a 7:00 show.. Should there be a long wait at about 5:00 midweek (2 people) or do I need to get there earlier to avoid a long line (or text notification) ?

I've seen waits as long as 1.5 hours at 5pm on a Tuesday and as short as 10 minutes at 5pm on a Thursday so it really just depends. It doesn't seem like 3:30-4 the wait is always much shorter between 5-20 minutes.

I believe they offer a $15 line pass option or free for diamond players. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong on that.

OK, I just discovered something very useful. If you look up the buffet in the TR app, it'll show you the current wait time.

I wanna try the buffet when I go in April. I hope the wait isn't around 1.5 hours.

The one and only time I went was during a Sunday evening during MLK weekend around 5PM. The line was packed, but I used the diamond card (and $100 celebration - paid the $10 difference for two) and we were in immediately.

Midweek should be much more reasonable, barring some large convention or other special event. The best current buffet, IMO, though the Wynn topped it "back in the day". Enjoy your buffet!

I gave the app a try, but I can't see the buffet wait times. Any idea where they show?

    Thanks

It's definitely there when you click the Bacchanal Buffet. As of 4:16pm EST the estimated wait time is 41 minutes and you can put yourself in the virtual queue and it will tell you what time to return and enjoy the buffet.

I tried to go there a few weeks ago on a Monday evening at 6:30 and there was a line of around 75-100 people waiting to get a table. That app would be great to gauge when it might be getting busy and jump in on a slow spot.

Ok, now I see it again; it says 51 minutes. It was definitely not there the last time I checked..Maybe its up to whoever is working the desk?

If the others who have seen it are in Vegas at the time of seeing it then the content might be proximity based (it's really easy to make that happen in a native app).

I downloaded the app the other day and couldn't see any wait time....but today (while sitting in Minneapolis) it shows 32 minutes.

I see it also now. So there seems to be no trick and not depending on location, as I am still in Switzerland. Maybe there was no line when I tried it before

Why is it longer lines now? I've been there in 2013, and it dinner just started. No lines.
