As a guy who attempts to play near perfect JoB and has recently enjoyed the "thrill" of bonus poker, how does the Cosmo compare? I know it ain't the great paytables available downtown or in the boondocks, but I like to sit and have a drink and maybe win some money. How does Cosmo compare? I'll also be at Cromwell on my next trip, are they better?

Compared to a place like Main Street Station...not good. JoB is 7/5 while BP is 6/5 at the quarter and 50c denoms. A few of the Bar tops at Book&Stage are progressives though. Check out the sticky at the top of this section, it goes into the bartops and payouts. Despite the relatively bad pay tables, you can get top notch drinks comped at the Cosmo bar tops.

Oh I know. I only gamble at Cosmo, it's my home casino. I spend a good 5 hours or so a day at those awesome bar tops.

If it's your home casino, and you play there and you know -- then what is your question again?

Only played JoB there, was really just curious about DB poker. Also just checking the pay tables of the nearby casinos. Wasn't aware of the sticky in the forum :)
