Are there any Fans of Joker Poker, Kings or better?

There are two versions of this game...

Joker Poker Kings or Better = playable

Joker Poker Two Pair or better = UN PLAYABLE!!!

    ----------------------------------------

Any Kings or better Fans out there? :poke:

4OAK at 18+ is playable... Right! :ssst:

I've played the Kings or better game. Not my fave but I had one good win on it when I first played it years ago.

I enjoy Joker Poker, play it at the D downtown. Theirs a bank of them in the back area were it's not so loud. Had a couple of great hits a few hands apart a couple of years ago.

For Kings or better, yeah quads at 18 for 1 is decent (98.94% max), but better if you could stumble across a full-pay unit (20 for 1 quads; 100.65%). Las Vegas Club has quarter coin-droppers with full-pay kings or better.

I don't exactly see why you think two pair joker poker is unplayable though. It's one of the best games left in Tunica for instance (full-pay; 99.92%), in a state that bans games that payback > 100%. :grrr: Is it because your hit frequency is worse than most games of video poker? It's only 30.2% vs. 44.4% for Kings or better. Most variants of video poker are close to 45% hit frequency.

Personally I've never got into the game. It's probably the most popular variant that I am really clueless on.
