How is the food here? It seems like more of a local's joint. It is located about 10 miles from Las Vegas Boulevard.

    The online reviews are stellar.

The food is cooked on a teppan grill à la Benihana. I find Benihana's food to be way too oily which is my concern. It may be the quantity or type of oil Benihana uses or I might need to avoid this style of cooking

    Has anyone been here?

I haven't tried this restaurant so I can't comment on how it is, but judging from Yelp pictures, the food looks decent. It would probably be more apt to compare it to a chain like L&L Hawaiian Grill or Flame Broiler, since that's probably the level of quality you're going to get from this restaurant. At all the teppanyaki restaurants I've been to, liberal amounts of oil and butter are used, so you should probably avoid teppanyaki if you don't like really oily food.
