After many trips to Vegas, we will be at MGM Casino/Hotel later this month. Is there any NOIR lounges, checkin areas or other perks we should take advantage of before the card goes POOF in a few months?

There is a VIP checkin lounge. It is just past the main front counter, just behind a few slot machines. Look for the cream colored door

mgm casinos dont have vip lounges like cet does for diamond and seven stars but they have the vip checkin area like ukfan wrote about, they have simple drinks like bottled water, coffee, juice, soft drinks and sometimes basic snacks like fruit and cookies. but it is just a checkin or checkout room for noir not a lounge to go and relax at.

if your noir you should tell mgm casinos they should make lounges for you the way cet does for their high rollers.

Yes, it is too bad that Mlife/MGM does not do something for at least NOIR, maybe even Plat.

At Gold Strike in Tunica, they have a small DiamondLounge like place. It wil hold 20-30 people and even has some nice light food at times and a comp bar. At Beau Rivage, if you go to the High Limit bar, they will comp you drinks - though they just ring it up as slot or table player?

At M-Bay, during certain hours, you can visit the lounge up on 62nd floor (number is ?). More like a concierge lounge in other hotels, but NOIR get access. Beer, some wine, light food.

A Mirage, the VIP checkin does allow you to stop in for a beer, wine or soft drink when they open. More of a checkin area, and not a real sit down lounge, but at least something.

NYNY does have a VIP checkin with coffee sodas, etc. We asked for a wine and it was a major deal to get it.

Go to the sports book and ask for the manager and show your noir card and you can get up into a skybox to watch whatever games you want.

If we're listing MGM VIP checkins, both Ari and Bellagio have them also. Drinks, snacks, some cushy seats, that kind of stuff. I like the Mandalay Bay VIP lounge on the 62nd floor. Its usually pretty empty and has a great view, very spacious. On the other end of the scale, if I ever saw 30 people in the GoldStrike Tunica VIP lounge, I would develop an acute case of closterphobia :eek2

Excalibur has a Platinum "Lounge" near the high limit slots
