I went through my cable guide looking for anything Las Vegas related. I came across an episode of Matlock (please don't judge) filmed on location. Matlock is defending a friend of his who is charged with murdering his girlfriend who is helping casino owners launder money. The casino owner was played by Ken Kercheval (better known as Cliff Barnes from Dallas). Anyways, there were some shots of Fremont St. pre-canopy showing The Mint and a moving Vegas Vic among others. One of the casino shots showed Matlock playing roulette with a Sigma Derby machine behind him! There was also a daytime shot of the strip showing Imperial Palace and the Flamingo. I know it is 20+ years old, but it is still amazing how different it is, but yet the same.

I love vintage Vegas as well. I always enjoy seeing Vegas in older movies. I recently an early 80's movie called The Touch with Kevin Costner and they showed a few scenes of The Strip.

I also search the TV for Vegas shows. I recently started watching the new season of Cheating Vegas which I found on Destination America, a channel I didn't know existed, but it's a great show.

I'm always on the lookout for some old, classic shots of Caesars Palace when it glowed turquoise at night.

Yeah they were talking about the Bellagio Biker Bandit. Funny how these guys seem to be proud of their heist! That guy was a tool!

Been collecting the old 'Vegas' show with Robert Urich on DVD. I'm fascinated of the shots of him driving the strip without all the megaresorts we've become used to.
