Yahoo ran the article this a.m.

    Okay.......I'm skeptical....just my nature.
Article says the guy who purchased the jacket at Goodwill
was an owner of a retro clothes store.
    Hmmmm.....?
Was gonna sell it at his store...but his wife saw Vince wearing
it on some old NFL film.
They checked the jacket and found "Lombardi" inside somewhere ?

The guy is immediately auctioning it off ---
why so quick ?....I wonder ?
    * Says it will sell for 20k !!!
    *
Would you buy it ?......if ya had 20k ?
    *
The article didn't mention anything about the varification process ---
and even if it did ?
    I'd STILL BE SKEPTICAL !!!

Maybe Bob Costas + Jerry Seinfeld would !

( the reference to those two is because they were defrauded with memoribilia purchases )

For that kind of money, I bet I could afford seven blocks of granite (sorry).

But seriously, the emotional value of cult figures in sports often leads to higher financial value. It's like that old joke: Lombardi is having sex with his wife. She says, "Oh, God!" And he says, "You may call me Vincent, my dear." There are people who see Lombardi that way, and probably would cough up the cash. I am not among those people.

There's more to the story then that, it's been from what I've been told verified and authenticated ( tho id like to get another opinion and closer examine it myself if I was going to bid on it) and depending on the auction house they use it'll go for big bucks. I've collected sports memorabilia for over 40 years and worked for a national memorabilia chain for 11 years.
