I'll be going to Las Vegas in August and September. For years I've played craps and want to try video poker. I will be staying at the Flamingo and South Point on each trip. We will have a car and like trying different casinos. I would like to try and find some JoB 9/6 games. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Well, you surely won't find 9/6 JoB (99.54%) at Flamingo. The best you'll likely find at the quarter level (I am assuming that's the level you'd want to try) in 7/5 Bonus (98.01%). Some units will offer Super Times Pay there, which ups the return to 98.29%. 9/6 JoB for quarters on the Strip is nearly non-existent. Only NYNY offers it on units that won't offer comp points.

Off strip though, 9/6 JoB is pretty plentiful at quarters or higher, including at South Point. But if you like the idea of playing at bartops, then 9/6 JoB availability shrinks again. Mainly at MSS downtown and at Rampart and Skyline, according to VPFree2.com.

I appreciate the information. We are actually staying at the Hilton Grand Vacations Club at the Flamingo. We have never stayed there before, hope its ok. We will be exploring the Las Vegas area as we will be there for 7 days. We always do the Lake Mead cruise, Red Rock Canyon and Valley of Fire, etc. I really do envy everyone that lives so close. We are a couple thousand miles away. August 16th is getting close and closer, lol.

I've heard this saying before. Gambling is addictive and video poker is like the crack of addiction. Oh yes, I play it 95% of the time we are in Vegas.

I've heard it too, especially referring to the era before penny slots. Does that make penny slots the meth of casino addiction?
