Just booked a Venetian Prima suite for early November. Do any of you know if there are any upgrades above prima? Online it seemed to be the nicest one but they don't have many pictures of their rooms. Thanks in advance.

There are nicer rooms than the Prima, which are the Renaissance and Penthouse suites. Now, if they're available for "pgrade is a different story. Did you pay for the Prima suite or was it COMP? Did you go through a host?

I paid for it. Just wanted to get back to the days where I can relax, have fun and play when I feel like it. No matter how much I tell myself that I don't play for comps I can't help but feel obligated to play for X amount of hours. I figure if they are happy with my play they can comp on the back end, if not I'm expecting to pay for it anyway.

Yeah, it's been awhile. Good to see you're still around. I had to take some time off. The company I worked for closed down and I've been building a new company since. Things have finally taken off for me so I'm in a position to throw some money around again. How are things?

Things are well, thanks. Busier than hell at work and counting the days until I hit the town. R&R is sorely needed!

Good to hear you're doing well too man. Good luck with the business and enjoy your trip! Starting over is tough and starting over with your own biz is even more stressful.

Getting away to relax and doing the whole "comp yourself" thing (s/o to beejay for that term) is nice. Stay and play where ya want and if the trip goes well and you catch some backend comps then it's a win/win.

How long will you be in town for?

I fly in to Vegas Thursday 11/6, then drive to Bullhead city Arizona (about an hour away) for a bachelor party. The bachelor party is suppose to be from 11/6 to 11/9 but I am leaving 11/7 to stay on the strip. Originally was suppose to fly home on Sunday night but realized the bears we're going to be playing while I was in the air so I moved the flight to Monday.

What did you think of them tonight? I watched an online feed of the game to get a taste of the Eagles...sloppy game as expected but I would expect that offense to light it up with another year of the Cutler/Jeffrey/Marshall/Forte foursome.

And despite the Sox being poor...I love watching Abreu mash!

Abreu is a freak. Just waiting for him to get popped for PEDS any day now. It's simply too good to be true.

The starters only played a couple series, I don't put much stock in preseason. Trestman played all 90 guys yesterday.

Abreu is indeed a freak. A Cuban Big Hurt, really. Hopefully his ankle problems or whatever head earlier this year are behind him and he plays 150-160 games a year. Because my Phillies have been so atrocious and I have the MLB package on DTV I flip around to games and oftentimes I end up on the Sox games just to watch him rake.

From what I have seen the Renaissance suite is very outdated. The prima suite is one if my favorites for the price. You should stick to it!
