    Hello Vegas Message Board Members

I am totally new to Grazie card -Venetian/Palazzo.
I received 3 nights room, $100 food & Free play offer.
$100 food offer - they said I can't use it at the canal shop level restaurants. Anyone used their food comp at Tao or Sushi Samba?

I noticed on my reservation confirm email
-$20 resort fee & tax not included.
I never had to pay anything with MGM properties with Mlife offers.
Is Venetian still charging tax & resort fees regardless of the Free room offer?
Any advice? Thank you. btw I don't have a host yet.

I've stayed there a few times and never paid a resort fee or tax. Matter of fact, I've never paid a resort fee on any comp room at any vegas hotel.

When you say "New", are you referring to never gambling with them before?

donovanrs28 - No. I gambled & lost $$$$ on my last vegas trip in July.
I joined Grazie in July. This will be my 1st time staying with Venetian.

The resort fee is for use of facilities such as Gym and in room internet access.
I think you can decline but its best to ask upon check-in.

If you could easily decline, all the issues with Resort Fee would be a NON-ISSUE.

Your food comp is good at Tao and Sushi Samba. Just charge your meal to your room.

I have never been charged a resort fee at V&P unless I requested it. However if it's in your fine print then perhaps for some player accounts they do charge it. If you feel you gave them a reasonable amount of play during your stay then ask a host at the end of your visit to remove the resort fee, if they added one on. The reason why I sometimes ask for the resort fee to be added on is that for some crazy reason my host can not comp off the charges for the Internet when I need to use it during a trip but he can comp off the resort fee that includes free internet.
