    Hello I'm 28 He's 31.

We will be in Vegas the week before memorial day for a 4 day 3 night midweek stay (Tuesday-Friday).

We cannot decide what hotel to book. In order of highest cost they are: Palazzo, Cosmo, Venetian, Mirage. They are all within a $200 range for the entire stay.

We want to sightsee, party, and do a little gambling (about $600-800 total budget depending on other expenses). Where is the best place to stay to provide a balance of luxury and partying and good gambling vibe?

PS: The cost do include Cosmo's terrace room (no fountain view however).

    Thanks in advance.

Stayed at all and Cosmo is the clear winner imo, great location, rooms and considering your requests it seems to be a perfect match. Maybe you will get lucky with the fountain view using the 20 trick especially since its a midweek stay.

I've stayed at V/P & Cosmo. Mostly midweek stays. I never got any sort of "party" vibe @ V/P, esp. midweek. Might be a different story on the weekends. Cosmo seems to have a party vibe most days.

Think Cosmo is probably the better fit. Good center strip location is a good jump off point for your sightseeing, nice rooms (even if you don't get a fountain view).

For your ages, can't go wrong with Cosmo.

    What Bommen said.

Unless you want peace and quiet, Cosmo is what you want. Location can't be beat. Great for the party vibe. And you'll be able to take full advantage of the terrace in May.

    Enjoy.

I love Venetian/Palazzo, but I agree with the concensus here. I think V/P is more luxurious, but it's not a big party vibe and usually a lot of suits going to trade shows during the week.

Go with Cosmo as long as you are getting a terrace. Love the fountain view, but I booked a regular studio suite last weekend and got a great strip view on the Eastside Tower.

Nothing beats having that private terrace to hang out on and enjoy a little bit of your own Vegas.

At your age, Cosmo is the place to stay. V/P is for those of us who are past the party stage. You'll love Cosmo.

I've stayed at the Cosmo twice midweek and I definitely received the party vibe. I was part of that party vibe as well, lol. Definite choice is the Cosmo, hands down! I'll be back there again this Aug-mid week-to celebrate my birthday

Cosmo is literally the best hotel I've stayed in Vegas, I've stayed there every month since November. They have great customer service.

I'll take a step further and say it's the best hotel I've stayed in the world. I'd go for it in a heartbeat.
