    My Trip Report

Hey guys, trip #12 coming up and doing my second trip report on this site. Got some good feedback last time so hopefully you all enjoy.

This trip is quite different for me as I am flying out for an interview, a job fair, and a ServSafe Protection Manager class. I've been in the food and beverage casino industry for 7+ years now and it's my dream to work here. It's been tough to get anything going since I live in West Virginia currently, however, hopefully I can get some insight on out of state candidates at the job fair.

Like my last trip I'll be posting lots of food porn, and hopefully some poker chip porn. Still looking for my first slot hand pay too! Going to try and hit these spots:

    Bardot
    Bouchon
    Giada's

    Wheels up in 30 minutes!

Looking forward to it. Too bad you are missing most of us by a day or two. Good luck on the search!

I feel ya on being tough to get anything going in WV. I moved from there 16 years ago at 20 years old and it was the smartest move I ever made. Good luck on the job front and enjoy Vegas!

Thanks for the love all! Touched down 30 minutes ahead of schedule. First experience with spirit, and for $156 round trip you can't beat it. It's $100 for a carry on but I just brought a backpack so it was free. Headed to MGM to catch the new Jabbawockeez show, I'm a big fan. Apparently it's a temporary show while they build them a massive new theatre. After that I'm off to Cosmo to check in. [IMG]

The show was pretty good...you can tell its kind of a filler as they recycled some old sets, but still very entertaining. Settled in on the 50th floor in a terrace studio suite at the Cosmo. Gonna check out Holsteins before I gotta hit the books for my test in the morning. [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

Appreciate that you posted the test, interesting stuff. I wouldn't score very well I'm afraid.

I wonder how the staff at the old Boardwalk buffet would have done. "Gimme some of that there green"

I love the feet up, "I'm relaxed, I'm here!" balcony view.

Good morning! On the way to the Kona Grill at the fashion show mall for the ServSafe class. I think I will stop at carnevino afterwards since its close by. Holsteins' kitchen was closed last night (I got a BBQ bacon Bloody Mary to suffice) so I hit up secret pizza for the first time. Good stuff, I was too drunk to finish though! [IMG][IMG][IMG]

On break after three chapters, this is actually my first one, but yep it's for five years.

Just took the test this past October, If you are comfortable with the practice exam you will do fine. If I remember right, there are 90 questions (10 throwaways); leaving you with just needing a 60/80 to pass.

However, with the shoes still on, the subtext would be..."I'm posing as relaxed but really can't wait to get out of this room".
