I will be going to Vegas for the first time.

I have used google to try and find some deals and savings, but haven't had much luck.

Anyone have any websites that have savings and coupons?

Any advice on how I can get the most out of my trip for less would be great!

1st of all, how soon is your trip going to be?

For room codes try smartervegas and travelvegas. If there are specific hotels you are interested in staying at, sign up for their emails.

For shows and restaurants, watch Travelzoo (shows are under Entertainment - Las Vegas) and Groupon. Also, once you get to Vegas there are same day ticket offices where you can get discounted tickets.

Some people like the LVA (Las Vegas Advisor) and American Casino Guide (buy book from Amazon) but figure out how many of the coupons you might use. For a 1st time visitor, I normally wouldn't recommend those as a lot of the places are off the Strip.

If you have a few months at least until your trip, you could start playing myVegas on Facebook. It's a game where you can earn rewards at MGM properties.

Thanks a million! I will check out your suggestions.

I have been playing myvegas and was able to get a couple of rewards, so I am excited for that.

Hopefully I can find more deals.

Another vote for smartvegas , we got a really good deal for the aria in sept . I am still checking it and if a better discount appears , I will email the hotel about taking the extra discount off .

There are some sections here that share information on coupons.

Misc chat is not the best one. And, when asking, try to make the title/subject more descriptive and folks will help.

Not including room fees or airfare i just did a 9 day trip to vegas with $600 in my pocket and we had such a great time. Came home with $50 and only put about 150 on the cc. I also gambled at least a 100 of that so it can be done. I will put up a trip report in the next couple weeks. we were also vv.

Groupon is really good for meals, as well as Restaurant.com. While we did take a cab when changing hotels and back to the airport we bought a bus pass for 15 days even though only there 9 and it was the best investment ever. When are you going?
