We will be coming in on Sunday staying until Thursday. Right now the only thing we have "planned" is the Terry Fator show on Tuesday evening. We have an aunt in Bullhead City that we want to go down and see (we are renting a car). We figured we could go see her and the Dam on the same day. Are there any other tourist spots that we should try and take in on this side road trip? Should we come back to Vegas via 93? Or is 95 a good scenic route? TIA.

    Trip

While your there take in the old day casinos of Laughlin. Hooks onto Bullhead.
They have some nice laid back casinos. Also the road to bullhead is mostly 4 lane now at 65. DO NOT speed! Many radar cars along the road. Also one small town Searchlight is 25 mph. Don't speed there either.

The drive from Bullhead to 93 is very stunning and rustic. An all mountain drive but is 4 lane and nice. Take 93 to Hoover Dam. They have a new bridge now.

    Have fun

    Do the loop

llc your best bang for your buck is to do the loop, go south on SR95 and north on SR93, Hoover Dam will be on your right after you cross the new bridge which you can see nothing from. Lots of desert but the trip will go fast as the speed limit is high, 70mph in AZ, Sr93 is divided Hy not a freeway so be careful if you decide to cross the road to see any roadside attractions, there are a few.

Chloride is a cute little ghost town, and also Oatman if you like Donkeys.

Good Luck and enjoy the ride

I'd do it in two days ,myself

One whole day to see Auntie in Bullhead and come back then I'd run down to really see the dam on another day. It's not all that far from Vegas a half day trip at most.
