A friend just told me that Vegas is bringing back the Super Bowl parties the way they use to be more than 10 years ago. Back then casinos would host huge viewings of the game and serve food/drinks for a price. My wife and I watched the Pats/Panthers game at the Hilton in their convention center on 30 foot screens with over 4000 other people. The tickets cost $55 each and came with all the fan food you could eat, and beer/soda you can drink. The NFL came down on Vegas after that game, saying that they can't charge to watch the game since it's a free event. So basically the casinos trimmed the parties down to a fragment of what they once were. Has anyone else heard something similar? BTW, we got reimbursed the $110 we paid for our tickets a month after the Superbowl.
