I recommend 'You Can Bet on That' if you're more into the gambling side.

Tim and Michelle at FHBM are fine in small doses, but their sense of humor makes me feel like I'm back in junior high.

I thought these guys at 5-hundy were somewhat related to a "rival" (is that right to call them that?) messageboard? Certainly not one that gets as much participation as this one, though I am sure there are a few who read both

I don't think they are related, but they definitely belong to the same mutual admiration society and they share a lot of the same members

I've been listening to Five Hundy for a couple of years. I'm not sure what message board that they admire. The only thing I could think of is the people/website that run VIMFP. They do have a forum but I think of it as more of a Vegas review site with a small forum.

its the one that awards them a "Trippie" for best vegas podcast...google it and I do think you are right that it is the VIMFP folks if I am not mistaken (and I often am mistaken!!)

Yes, that is the one I am thinking of.

As much as I enjoy Five Hundy I do think that they should be disqualified from Best Podcast in the future. Basically they cannot lose.

I think their podcasts are pretty good, but I agree that their humor can be pretty juvenile at times.

I don't enjoy this podcast at all. I find their taste in everything terrible, and their banter is grating and useless. Guess I'm in the minority.

I've been listening to FHBM for many years and absolutely love it. The show is very informative and the FB group is wonderful. Say what you want about their sense of humor but you'll never encounter two nicer people. Tim and Michelle are hard working and care very much about their listeners.

If you haven't yet, give the show a listen. You'll probably love it.

To each their own, personally I love the podcast and their sense of humor. But I get that different people like different things.

I run (a lot) and listen to Vegas podcasts while training.

    Currently on rota are

    Five handy by midnight
    Vegas gang
360 Vegas - only up to episode 80 (March 2013)
    Vegas fanboy
    Vegas tripping
    You can bet on that
    Gambling with an edge

They all offer a slightly different focus but keep me going in the long 50 weeks a year between Vegas trips. Most come out weekly or bi weekly and I've worked through their back catalogues from episode 1.

Really enjoying 360 Vegas at the moment because they are talking about the upgrade plans for linq etc and you can plot what actually happened and what was pr bs.
