Does anyone know where in Vegas they have "normal" photo booths? I know NYNY has one in the arcade that overlays a magazine cover page on the photos, but I'm looking for one that either takes plain ones or gives you the option of the effects "purikura" style. Cosmo used to have a couple if I remember correctly, are they still there? Are there any others around town?

Not really a photo booth per se, but there is a photographer set up outside the buffet at the Excalibur.
They'll take your picture against a Green Screen and let you pick the background.

If you are planning to get one, I think this is a good option, but for my family it wasn't a fun experience.

My Parents were there for their anniversary.
The woman working the booth asked if they'd like to have their picture taken for free and decide if they wanted to buy it.

    No price was mentioned, nothing.

My parents got their picture taken, she pulled up a couple of different backdrops. Then she said "look what I can do with the text" and she put Happy Anniversary or something on it.
Then she said, okay let me print these out.
I don't remember how much they were going to cost, but my parents weren't even expecting to pay for it and weren't overly interested in it. So we told her no thanks, and she hit us with this huge attitude like we'd just wasted her whole day and ruined her life.
I get that she was doing a sales tactic, by offering a glimpse of the picture for free and then going to the "painstaking" process of making it look all pretty. And the photo itself was nice. But the attitude at the end was pointless.

Of course, all that said if you are looking for something like that and that's something that you want, the price isn't all that bad, and you can find it by the buffet at the Excalibur.

I'm looking for one for a couple to take a few pictures in. Wanted to find one for Valentine's day as something cute, reminding us of an earlier date. I'd rather not have green screens or effects, just a classic one that dispenses a strip or 4 photos or similar.

They had a normal one in a bar I went to downtown. Hogs and Heiffers. Last time I was in there was about a year and a half ago though. If you find yourself on freemont street, it's only a block and a half north on 3rd st.

I was on Fremont Street this weekend and saw a photo booth inside one of the casinos. Dang it - I don't remember which casino it was. I merely ducked inside to use the bathroom and noticed the booth. Sorry I could not be more helpful in recalling the exact location.

It doesn't have to be in any particular place, we drive so I'll be able to go anywhere, really. Was hoping there would be one around the strip (maybe at one of the malls?), but I have nothing against wandering around downtown for a few hours looking for one! Thanks for the input, hopefully other people can confirm some of these locations and/or add more to the list!

So, after more digging, it seems there were some at Circus Circus in the Adventuredome (right inside the entrance). If anyone is in the area in the news few days/weeks, could they please check if they are still there?
