I think many of the hotel lounges have quite a few single older people.

I'm in the same age group. If you like a nice quiet place and are a non-smoker, Bar Vdara is the place. Very quiet, elegant, decent food, very good drinks. I've met some nice ladies there, not the working girl types! Also consider the bar at Tacos & Tequila at Luxor. They have a great selection of tequilas, good food and service.

Other than that there are many places if you want to sit at a bar and gamble (bad pay schedules). Nothing in particular comes to mind.

I arrive 11/29 so we will be there at the same time!

Wow. I think just about any major casino lounge will have the 50-something crowd (I'm 55). I like the lounge in Harrah's just next to their Carnival Court. The Carnival Court is a young crowd but the lounge, just inside Harrah's has an outgoing, fun singles crowd in our age range with live entertainment. Gambling is right outside the door.

Welcome!! Where are you staying? There are great lounges at most properties. One we really like is at Bally's....usually a good band and more boomers, etc.

Also the piano bat at NYNY is a hoot, if you can get in there! Very crowded when it gets going. Both bars at Nine Fine Irishmen won't disappont and they have great lamb there but the fish and chips sucks. Of all places I've met some interesting people at the bar in the America Cafe at NYNY and plenty of ladies tend to hang out before and after the Zumanity show at the Italian restaurant there. Again, not ho's although there are plenty of those too.

Really depends on your personality! I lean toward the quieter places. Understand that if you go someplace like double barrel roadhouse at Monte Carlo or gilleys up at Treasure Island and music is playing you will probably be hit with an entertainment tax, even if you hate the music and are sitting nowhere near the stage.

Make sure you grab a drink at the Chandelier bar at Cosmo, the Bar at Mandarin Oriental and caviar et champagne at Bellagio just because you can! Or go grab a couple $1 beers at Casino Royale for the same effect and a lot less cash!

Private message me if you want anymore inside info. I am there the same time staying at Aria.
