Just so many upsets and so hard to pick a winner. This is probably the worst I have ever done on picking a bracket. Cant imagine trying to give a team points. Its really making me rethink how much I will be wagering next wekend at the Elite 8!

Hmm... it really depends on how people are betting their money.

All the online odds sites and every pre March Madness special I saw predicted quite a few upsets in the first round... if most of the action is being placed by homers and the uninformed then Vegas is probably cleaning up. If most of the action is by professional bettors and gamblers willing to do a little research beyond "this team is ranked higher than that team, so they are my favorite" then the sportsbooks are probably still making money, but maybe not quite a killing.

The last count I saw was 19 chalk and 17 dog against the spread winners so far as of this morning
