I'm trying to decide on which one to get. I'm going for 3 nights and the difference is $135 (not a night, total for getting the Panoramic over the corner), for the weekend.

Not sure if the price difference is worth it. Please advise if anyone has stayed here. I'm planning on booking my room tonight.

    Thanks,

    James G

I faced this same dilemma when booking my room for this summer. I wound up choosing the Executive Corner Suite over the standard Corner Suite or Panoramic Suite.

The main conflict in the choice was exterior views vs layout of the room. The Panoramic obviously has the best views, but I don't like the layout of the room. The tv wall looks like just a pillar between two hallways and not a full wall. Also, the bedroom is right next to the living room and doesn't provided much separation or privacy. (Same with the standard Corner Suite).

The Executive Corner much more effectively isolates the bedroom from the rest of the suite. The whole layout just flows better. It is laid out almost like an apartment would be. It looks like it will feel less crowded and not like everything is just forced together. It doesn't have the best views, but I don't really plan to spend a lot of time standing there and staring out the window.

The pillar has a A/C vent and a closet with the washer/dryer.

I've stayed in the panoramic suite last summer and it was great (actually booked the corner suite and got upgraded). The main difference is an hallway in the panoramic suite, you're really not getting much in terms of space or added value.

Since you're hosting a few people for drinks, the Executive suite would probably be better since the floor plan is more open. Also, since there's a guest bathroom, so you can just close the door to your bedroom and keep people out if you want.

that's the thing I really hate about "green" hotels, Aria, Vdara, Mandarin...etc
would you mind making the main toilet with a door and a noisy fan?
