Has anyone been to both places?

I am leaning toward Vdara as we are staying there but it seems much smaller than Qua. Also has anyone here used spafinder gift certificates at either place?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Been to both.

Staff at Vdara is very friendly and helpful. It is a smaller operation, but not too small.

    Qua is much bigger.

I am a big believer that the best spa is usually at the same hotel where you are staying. Trekking a mile to the spa and back to your room does not make much sense.

I was disappointed with QUA. I know it's highly regarded but I think it's beginning to show it's age. Lots of things weren't working properly, lots of empty water bottles all over, a little over crowded, and I found the shower supplies to be of low quality.

I haven't been to VDARA. I have been to ARIA spa and loved it much more than QUA.

Been to both, enjoyed both. QUA, however, has some aspects that I desired, that Vdara did not have. The "ice" room for one, and more choices for a steam room. I guess it all depends on what your more important aspects that you desire, are.

We were at the Aria spa last year and it was nice but when we went the room that has massage lounge chairs they were all broken.
