Hi. Is there a drug store real close to vdara so I may buy a case of water and carry back to my room since I have a fridge. I will be in a shared limo from airport so I don't think they will stop on way to hotel.

Oh boy... Vdara sits back off the strip quite a bit. Nearest would be on the strip. See this map for the big Walgreens next to Planet Ho.

By the way, Vegas water is pretty safe stuff to drink.

No. There is no place close to Vdara for that. You'll be lugging that case of water a long ways.

Vdara generally gives you 2 bottles of water a day and depending on the room there is a filtered water dispenser in the fridge

Just got back from a Vdara stay - the Walgreens at Harmon/LVB would be a bit of a hike with a case of water. Might be doable if you had a large enough backpack to shove it in. The two bottles of water that were left daily were the little ones - like 8 ounces. Can confirm that the fridge in our 1br penthouse had the water filter in the fridge.

Another option which we did once to buy beer for a suite party. Empty out your carry on bag and take that to the store. Fill it up with beer - or god forbid - water and wheel it back.

Another travel hint. If you have a computer bag, goody bag, or anything else do not rest is on TOP of the roller bag. Hang it off the lower end of the bag and weight almost disappears. If it is resting on top against the handle, it gets very heavy. Physics!

You might have to do what we did - get a couple of gallon jugs every couple of days. Carrying a case was out of the question.

Vdara does have a convenience store attached to its cafe next to the bar and checkin area. I'm pretty sure they sell large water bottles too, possibly a 12-pack of standard bottles. I know that the gift shop at Aria, basically right across Harmon Avenue, should also have a large selection of drinks.

As far as prices go... it will likely be cheaper to make the journey to Walgreens at PHo. If you aren't weirded-out by it, fridges in the larger Vdara rooms definitely have filtered water taps inside the fridge. "Larger" rooms mean anything beyond the standard suites which have mini fridges.
Enjoy staying hydrated on your trip! :drunk:

    Walgreen's isn't that far away.

CVS isn't really that far away, either.

    Both are just inconvenient, really.

If you're 80 pounds, I could see where it might be an issue, but both are accessible through air conditioned casinos and the outside walks do have elevators and escalators.

Thirty minutes round-trip.....but ask the limo guy if he'll make a quick stop once you're out of the airport. The two times I've asked to stop for liquor in the past, I'm undefeated.
