To start off, I have never played an actual cash game in a casino, just tournaments. My question is, if I want to redeem the ACG $50 for $60 in Golden Nugget poker chips coupon. Couldn't I just buy the chips with the coupon and immediately cash them out for a $10 profit? Or do I have to sit and play with them? Anyone redeemed this coupon before or have any insight. All answers are appreciated!:nworthy:

Correct it is for Golden Nugget. Not sure how they stop you from just walking with those chips.

I have redeemed this coupon in the past at the GN. I gave the coupon to the guy who checked me in at the poker room along with my buy in he gave me $10 extra in chips, and that was it. There is nothing stopping you from sitting down for a min, and then leaving. I would just carry my chips to the casino casino vs the poker room cashier. I played for maybe a half hour.

There's a better chance of seeing this coupon in next year's ACG if people don't abuse it this way....

I'm not going to take the money and just leave the casino. I just don't have the time to play a cash game of poker because I will have my girlfriend with me. What is going to end up happening is I will be taking the money to a slot machine to play with her. I only go once a year so if I don't use it I lose it, but I do understand what you're saying.

I'd just play an orbit or two if you have the g/f in tow.
