Its sad I am a new at doing this, but I fly mainly for work on SWA and I plan on using a one way flight to Vegas for stuperbowl in Jan.....

If I book now and use the points, but it later in the month it goes down (southwest has been known to do this) can I do a "refund" and get the difference of the points back ?

Does anyone have experience with it ? I have experience with if the flight goes down they give you a nice little credit etc....

    Was just curious..

    Thanks

Yes, if the flight price is reduced you can get some of your points back.
I'm headed out SB weekend with free(point) rt. Thurs. - Mon.
If flight is reduced I recommend calling them to get back points. A lot easier than trying to figure it out on line.
I've had two reduce price corrections already.

Just keep a note of how many points your flight cost and then when you search look for points. I've done it all online with no issues.

Im looking for Sat - Mon and flights are as cheap as they come right now out of SFO. The only hope we have to get an even more reduced price is Cyber Monday. I think I paid 7k points round trip, amazing deal!!

Love the refund policy, I just log into my rapid rewards and click change the flight and if I think a fare is lower I change it and the site tells the difference, up or down. If it isn't better, just close out the window.
