On our next trip we're planning on staying at the Bellagio - but I'm also hoping to have about $200 in RCs (earned prior to the trip) through CET to be used towards a dinner..

Q: If our meal comes out to more than my RCs, can I tell them to take all my RCs first, and then charge the balance to my credit card?

    thanks!

We're booked - hope we can keep this trip!!!

Yes you can. But I'm not sure how that works as far as sales tax goes. If you paid using all RCs, you would pay no tax. But if you come up short, I'd assume you have to pay tax.

When I did this, my tab was $178 including tax. So I gave them my TR card, and also my credit card. I told them to just deduct whatever RC's I had, which turned out to be $157, and then put the rest on the card. So that wound up being $21, and then I made my friends leave the tip because those mooches just raked me over the coals for $157.
