I believe every casino is different.

If you have a good history of bringing front money, you should easily get approved for the same amount you normally bring as long as you have a good history with your bank. If you have that front money history, just having that amount of cash in your checking should be good. If you do not have the history, they may want to see a much higher balance.

Your account with the casino is tied to your name, DOB, SS# and Mlife number. You don't need your slip...

At this point it's more a debate on bankroll management & adherence to principles.
If I front wire X amount of money, that is the definitive loss I'm prepared to risk on given trip.

If I establish an ever increasing LOC, yes it's convenient but mental willpower to establish a trip loss limit becomes a factor.

Yes, of course the cash on hand with front money is what you have. With a LOC, you can have 100k and whatever cash but if you go on tilt, etc, it's another story. Good money mngmt and if you can adhere to a stop loss would be ideal.

That's what I and many others have learned.

Try not to treat it as an "ever increasing" line and set it equal to your trip loss limit. Its tempting to set it for more to provide a cushion or whatever but when you're on tilt its too easy to just ignore those limits and sign for another marker. There have been reports here of hosts having peoples' lines increased without them asking, that is kind of sketchy in my opinion.

One of the risks with LOCs vs front money is you can set up LOCs all over the place based on the same bank account. So theoretically you can blow through your line at Aria, then walk over to Cosmo or Bellagio and blow through the same amount there, and on and on. With front money you wouldn't have that option.
