I've heard they're giving everyone the tablet this year because they're going to online only for offers starting 1/1/16. Tablet gives everyone e-mail access.

I received a mailer for the tablet. It indicates April 17 or April -18. 375 gifts available. If they run out of tablets, they will offer $200 of free slot play. It also has a note..... Lack of play on the gaming day you redeem the offer may prevent you from receiving future offers.

This mailer is specifically for Caesars Windsor (not my home property). They are not calling it an Appreciation Gift. It is a thank you for your loyalty. (I spent 2 nights there in 2014)

In his defense, he didn't specifically say the Cosmo. I did see a large reduction in my offer from V/P earlier in the year but that seems to have rebounded now so could have been referring to them?
I can't say why your free play would be reduced however mine is the same as it's always been. Not near yours so maybe the higher tiers are getting hit harder than the lower. My typical offer is still $250 in free play and 5 comp nights.

My freeplay and gift card etc offers are less than half, compared to a year ago. The reduction has been widely reported. My play increased (ADT). My host has told me that the reductions were right across the board. You are pretty much the only one that I can recall...... that has said your offers are intact.
I don't care about comp nights. A host can usually give you whatever nights you need.

Mine have also been cut, used to $500 - $600. Just came back and only received $200 in free play.

I just noticed on the website that "Complimentary Resort Fees" is listed as a "New" benefit for Diamond and Seven Stars. It's my understanding that a waived resort fee has always been a benefit of these tier levels. Could it be that the amenities associated with the resort fee (free Wifi, etc.) are now included for Diamond and Seven Stars, with the resort fee not being assessed?

That would be a great added benefit for Diamond if that does now include the use of the resort. For Diamond, they would not charge the resort fee automatically but if you used any of the services, you would be billed for it or could opt into the resort fee.
It also looks like they may have redesigned the cards based on that page?

Hunter is a Planet Hollywood host. How could Cosmopolitan not be a competitor. It's a competitor for all Las Vegas properties.

As has been said, you are about the only person I have heard of whose offers were not cut.

Yes, this: what is actually complimentary?

Both Diamond and Seven Stars say "NEW! Complimentary Resort Fees" on the overview page. I couldn't find the Diamond terms and conditions, but Seven Stars says this:

    "NO RESORT FEES

Where applicable. The amenities covered by resort fees will vary by location. Please ask Reservations or Front Desk Agent for more details. Resort Fees are not automatically assessed for Seven Stars member, but such packages may be purchased upon request with Reservations or Front Desk Agent."

The Insider newsletter said that each property will decide what amenities are offered to members - at least one is nixing the old free movie benefit but allowing internet for several devices.

I suppose I understand this change, but don't like that the t&c wording guarantees nothing. I especially disapprove of the use of the word "complimentary" for resort fees if they're allowed to charge us for what they include. I'll be interested to see what Vegas properties end up including

I noticed that the round trip (airport) limo transportation is no longer a benefit of reaching Diamond Aspirations 2 (80k). It also isn't explicitly mentioned as being a part of 7 Stars. I assume that means that the limo charges will hit the room folio and be comped on the back end. Limo is only mentioned as part of the 7 Stars retreat.

Although Hunter did say that all benefits remain the same......Limo is never mentioned as a regular benefit as of April 1, 2015.

    Hunter, can you clarify??

Would like to know too. We have a trip for next week in Vegas and were suppose to have limo pickup at airport. Wonder if I still have it?

This is the absolutely best benefit that I will miss the most. We fly into Reno 5-6 times a year and get limo over to Tahoe (fully stocked). We haven't rented a car in years except maybe one day in Tahoe. Always so nice when we have our early morning return flight.

Yes, confirmed that limos are gone. I'm sure if your transportation has already been arranged, it will be there. The question is...if it was arranged prior to April 1, if you will see the charge on your room folio.

Good question - I will let you know. We have a $250 resort credit so I will see what they do at Paris.
I really loved this perk at NOLA, Atlantic City, Reno and Tahoe.

What I don't understand is why they took away so many things from their best players. Things like the limo's, media credit, appreciation gift. And they made it harder to get a signature experience. I have had 300+ points in the past few years. But right now there is no reason whatsoever to go over 150k points. There is nothing in it. To spend thousands upon thousands of dollars to get a $500 shopping spree is just not my idea of a bargain. So I will enjoy what offers they have and limit my play.

Recently Mountaineer casino called me and said they would like us to come back. We used to play there once a month before the Cleveland casino's opened. So they gave me $200 in free play, My husband $100, a free room, a dinner for two in their steakhouse (which by the way is awesome) as well as a comp for breakfast and a $50 resort fee. We are going this weekend. Right there we have made the $500 that CET is giving us for reaching 250k points. Nope...I am going to move my play around this year and enjoy the perks at other casino's.

Agree completely. I've already been playing elsewhere and have plenty of offers from other casinos. I'll be limiting my CET play to 150k tier this year (or less, haven't quite decided on that yet) and giving more to other places to increase my offers elsewhere.

I know it's "business, not personal", but it sure as hell feels personal when I've spent thousands and thousands with CET only to be slapped in the face with all of these cuts!

I just called to book my Signature event in AC and I was told I had a choice to either stay at Ballys or Harrahs. I said I want to stay at Caesars and the lady told me I cant. The offer doesn't allow me to. WTF??? I just can't believe I was told that.
