Normally after returning from a trip I e-mail our host to review our play and provide a final balance of our bill (which is usually $0).
This time we stayed at Caesars and used a different host (or a person who we thought was a host).
This person set up our room reservation and limo.
This was all done via e-mail which he has "Casino Sales Executive" which I guess is not the same as a host.
When we returned from our trip I e-mailed him to review our play and provide a final balance of our bill to which he explained he can't do that as he is not a host.

I would like a reputable host at Caesars that we can contact to see if they can review our play and provide a final balance.
Since we charge our meals and stuff to the room we usually get $300-$400 worth of charges removed which would be nice if it could be done for this trip too.
Not sure if its too late, but would like to try.

I guess my first question is, why didn't you use your host to book your reservation and travel arrangements? I would just contact Caesars and ask for the VIP Services desk. They should be able to connect you to a host. I'm sure there are plenty of people here that could recommend you to their host, but why would a host, who knows you have another host and didn't even book with them on your last trip, give you the courtesy?

This guy called me and it was perfect timing as we were debating on giving a new CET place a try.

    Will give this try.

This guy seemed to indicate it is best to try and use a host local to that property. Plus it was a good way to compare how this guy did to our other guy.

I see your join date is almost 3 years ago. I feel honored that after almost 3 years you found my thread to be the only worth thread to reply.

I'm more of a lurker ;) I usually come on here a couple days before each trip to see what's going on in town when I go.

I only commented bc a friend of mine just did the same thing. I don't know why CET is having these "casino sales executives" calling on clients who already have a host. They have called me a few times, but I always defer to my host, she has always been fair with me.

IME having a host local to a property is only a benefit when making reservations or trying to get prefferential treatment at that properties ammenities. (Due to the people they k ow at rhat property) As far as comps are concerned they should be the same as long as you are playing at a CET property. My host is out of Harrahs and while I do stay there ocassionally she routinely books and Comps me the same at Caesars.

This happened to me last year. I got a cold call from someone at CET and they made it seem like they were my new host. I asked what happened to Mike my old host and they said there was a change and I was reassigned to him now. While i did up my play with them the year prior I was still just a middling Diamond. So I just thought I graduated to a new host. Man did this Casino Sales Executive suck. He botched my reservation. Somehow booked me in a manor where my $400 in free play wasn't guaranteed and was absolutely worthless when I called him out on all the issues I had after I came home. I was brushed off with a simple "We are making a lot of changes now to the way we comp" BS line and I did book my stay just before they went bankrupt. No reason why they couldnt honor my reservation tho. I hadn't stayed with CET since then (January of this year).

I eventually had another host cold call me about booking a trip and I bitched to her about this guy I had dealt with and she said a bunch of these CSE's that were calling players now are clown shoes! I wont put her name in this thread just in case it gets back to her. But she basically said that all hosts hate these people since a host gets credit for my play when they book me. When you use a CSE that money goes back to the house.

That explains why you are getting the runaround and why you should avoid a CSE at all costs. It just another way for broke CET to get even cheaper with their comps.

I have had the same horrible experience with a CSE. Absolutely worthless. I tried to book my 7* retreat and after almost a month, I gave up and called my Host at Harrahs SoCal, I barely even play there and he had the whole thing taken care of in about 45 mins with flight conf., limo, room upgrade and notice to host on the other end. I wrote a scathing email notice the 30 or so emails and calls to this CSE and I am.hoping to get away from that jerk. In the meantime, I just called VIP services and they connected me directly to Host on Duty at Caesars who took care of my last minute trip last weekend.
