I'm looking for something different and unique. We're going to have a rental car, so anywhere in the valley is fine.

    Thanks in advance.

Top of The World at the Stratosphere . Amazing views, a romantic dinner (get a sunset reservation), excellent food and service.

OK, unique, hmmm, I guess that means no chains -- good, bad, large, small -- found elsewhere and no pointy tall buildings with revolving restaurants of mediocrity as in any large city. Hmmm ... :wink2:

Two people to check with, Westie and vegasbound.

I'll throw in a few -- Todd's Unique, Marche Bacchus, Table 34, Vintner Grill, Bob Taylor's Original Ranch Steakhouse (OK, truthfully, not all that but it is iconic old Vegas), Ventano Italian Grill.

Great local Greek food and they had a Greek singer and dancing last time I was there. Good food.

Never mind, just saw reviews on yelp that it has closed unfortunately.

Can you be a bit more specific than "different and unique". Like are you looking for hole in the wall unique or foofoo barely any food on your plate unique?

If you like Thai, definitely check out Lotus of Siam. Food is excellent, 5 min from the strip off Sahara, prices are reasonable and the chef is a James Beard award winner.

Definitely not foofoo. Just something you don't see everywhere else. I've tried the Stratosphere, the view was fantastic but the meal wasn't memorable. I do like hole in the wall places that are hidden gem type places.

    I will second Heart Attack.
Nothing really special, but at least the names on the menu are different from other places.

Harley Davidson Cafe--- motorcycles circle around the restaurant- it is certainly not gourmet but pretty good for the type of restaurant it is.

I think pops is the quintessential hole in the wall eatery. Go get you a beef with onions and wiz! Make sure to read the tip jar, says they are trying to earn money to get the dishwasher guy a "date". lol

Here are a few I can recommend:

Bronze Cafe - the LGBTQ (bacon jam - need I say more) or go healthy with a salad or Tree of Life pita.
    Bachi Burger
Baguette Café - excellent quiche, soup and sandwiches - now open on weekends
    Border Grill for weekend brunch
Bouchon for the bread pudding style French toast
Chada Thai or the newly opened Chada Street - former sommelier at Lotus has now opened up 2 restaurants that compare favorably with Lotus of Siam
Cleo @ SLS - upscale Mediterranean
DW Bistro for lunch or weekend brunch - New Mexican & Jamaican fusion - do not, I mean do not leave without a slice of the carrot cake
Forte European Tapas Bar & Bistro - Bulgarian tapas?
Gelatology - unique gelato flavors created by owner
Images Restaurant @ Rainbow Club in downtown Henderson - breakfast - what makes it unique is the price - $1.99 for 2 eggs, bacon, hash browns & toast or, heaven forbid. sub for biscuits & Gravy
Japanese Cuisine by Omae - 12-seat restaurant owned by 2 time Michelin awarded chef
Las Cazuelas - authentic Mexican from Puebla region
Lola’s – A Louisiana Kitchen - 2 locations for Cajun/Creole cuisine - fresh mudsuckers in season otherwise opt for the bronzed catfish
    Moko Asian Bistro
Oyster Bar @ Palace Station - best pan roast in Las Vegas, but the wait will be painful
    Raku & Raku Sweets
Tacos el Gordo - adobada street tacos
Todd's Unique - Todd is in the kitchen and doesn't charge a corkage fee on Wednesdays

There are soooooo many unique restaurants in LV! Too many to list!

I don't see how any chain can make it in LV!
