Ok, not a big gambler, but one reason I dont play much is because I dont understand the machines. Way too many pictures that I dont understand, way too many crazy lines that dont make sense to me. Are there still any basic slot machines left with just the 3 cherries, or one of my faves way back in the day was "haywire" Just want something that I dont have to think and ponder and give myself a headache understanding.

The classic machines are still around. Just got to look for them. Try the red, white and blue triple 7's.

There are old type machines around in every casino. But really, the machines are not hard to figure out. It may look intimidating but it really isnt. There are usually two lines of buttons, the top line is how many lines you want to play for the game. The second row is how many credits you want to play per line. You can play one line at one credit at a penny machine, or you can play 60 lines at 30 credits for like a million dollars at a dollar machine, lol. There are even 1/2 penny machines! I know right!!

Have fun at whatever you decide to play!

Yes, definitely plenty of the reel slot machines as I play them as much as the newer ones.

I will say that sometimes the reels can piss you off as it may appear you have 3 across but the last item is just slightly off.

Also, even the reels aren't just a single line any more. These too have 3,5 or more ways to bet.

One other thing to remember with the newer slots which is different from the reels is that you always look at the first column first.
With the reel slots if you get 2 out of 3 items you can still win even if the 1st is blank and the 2nd and 3rd match.

With the newer slot machines, if there are 5 columns and columns 2-5 match it doesn't matter because you always start with the symbols in the first column.
