    Do these groups have much of a presence out here in Vegas? I know the cab game is strong out there. Just curious if anyone has used these services before.

    Neither are legal in Nevada. Uber was here for a few days then got shut down. They are trying to find a way to get back in, but it doesn't look like this is going to happen in the near future.

    Both got banned. Google it. Nevada is one of the few states these services were limited. Obviously the taxi lobby is very strong in Nevada. (and IMHO, a poor choice by the state)

    Two lobbies that will never be overcome in Nevada (or at least will be the last state to fall): tobacco and taxis.
