I'm putting the finishing touches on my 9-day Vegas trip itinerary! :) About a month ago I got a great rate for three nights in a regular Encore Suite for $129/night. I'm going to be staying at Encore between two Caesars four-day stays. I really just need two nights at Encore (48 hours between Caesars comped FSP offers) so I could lop off a night but I was thinking about staying at Encore for the full three nights, especially with such a good rate. I'm thinking 2 nights might feel kind of rushed. I am so ready to enjoy staying at Wynncore! Once I get to the Wynncore campus, I don't plan to leave until it is time to check out. I want to play a fair amount, but also enjoy the restaurants, pools, spa and window shopping. :)

If I kept the three nights I would be double booked at Caesars but I thought it might be nice to play a bit at Caesars that morning (not screwing with my ADT) -- we'll call that Day 1 -- have a nice lunch at Caesars and then pack up and head over to Encore in mid afternoon, probably just checking out remotely from Caesars later that day or early the following morning. The Encore check in is not until 3 or 4 in the afternoon.

Alternatively, I would just stay at Caesars that night and might spend some time downtown and off strip (Gold Coast/Palms, etc.) doing a coupon run in the late afternoon and evening, checking into Encore the following day (which would be Day 2 of the three days I have booked). If I did the latter I wouldn't play at Caesars the morning of "Day 2" (might as well not screw with my ADT) and after check out would head over to the Mandarin Oriental to enjoy the spa (my breakfast that day would just be fruit and nuts) and a Chinese Foot Treatment, followed by afternoon tea in Mandarin's Tea Lounge. Then I would cab it over to Encore mid-afternoon to check in and stay at Encore that night and the following night before checking back into Caesars two days later for the last four nights of my trip.

    Thoughts appreciated.

I would spend the three night at Wynn/Encore!!!!!! That place is just paradise :) I stayed there for the first time for two night last month and I felt an extra night would have allowed me to fully enjoy the many amenities and the many great restaurants they have!!!!!!

And please do try the spa at Encore! I think Qua is better but the spa at Encore is definitely worth spending some time in, so beautiful and relaxing like everything else at WynnEncore. Also a must do there is lunch on the terrace overlooking the golf course at the Country Club! And of course don't miss the beautiful pools! As you can see there's enough to keep you occupied for three days and more :)

I highly recommend it! We have stayed there at our last 4 trips.

I'm leaning towards staying three nights rather than two. Thanks.

The only issue with double booking a night is that both properties want your play for that day.

If you split your bankroll, you hurt your ADT at both.

If you are primarily a CET person and are mainly staying at Encore to cross it off the list, it's probably better to give all your play to Caesars the day you move. The problem is, you won't know how much you like Encore until you get there.

On the other hand, you do have the 2nd stay at Casesars to "fix" your ADT if you ding it. If you get to Encore and decide you don't care about playing enough to get free room offers from them, you can low play and add to your bankroll for the return to Caesars.
