Has anyone heard bad reviews about the Trop. Have questions about the rooms at the Trop. What tower is close to the entrance at the trop. Someone said in one of the other forums that the Paradise Tower is very close to entrance not sure on that? Has anyone stayed at the deluxe city view room was it worth the extra money, nice location and what tower. Has the Paradise Tower been remodeled?
Anything else you can tell me about the room would be helpful. Scared about staying here.

    Thanks

Pros: bright casino floor. Very pretty. Plenty of small bars around. Drink girls are always coming around. Big diversity of slots. Plenty of tables. Accommodates both low rollers and big rollers. Plenty of ashtrays around. Friendly staff. Plenty of cash out machines/arms around. Good entertainment here (comedy club, raiding the rock vault and a magic show). Nice restaurants. Very close to mgm, new york, excalibur, etc. Very good club rewards.

Cons: "food court" is starbucks and a pizza/sandwich place. Don't get me wrong the pizza place is good but that's not much in the way of options. Bathrooms are very sparse. Not a huge casino floor so when it's busy it can feel pretty crowded.

I can't speak for the rooms as I haven't stayed here. Just my two cents. I really like the tropicana.

All rooms in both towers have been remodelled though the bathrooms in everything with the exception of the poolside bungalows have older tubs and tile.

Paradise Tower is steps from the strip.

Paradise Suites are worth a few extra $'s for a separate bedroom.

My favourite room is the poolside suite bungalow.

Biscayne, Bacio and the Beach Cafe are really good. As Supermep said though, the low end options are lacking.
