    Trips to Las Vegas:
This sounds like something I have read about before, but perhaps this company/location is different than the horror stories I am remembering.

    It's a 2-night stay at Tuscany Suites via a Groupon-like site.

    The fine print: https://www.tripsincentives.com/terms/lvjc-3-2-tpr.html

It's $49 today. Yeah, there's a timeshare pitch as part of the deal.

Personally, I avoid those type offers like the plague.
And, I would assume that you have to give them your credit card number for the $49 ... ??? That 's another bad omen.

Yeah, I do too...could be a time share or other hidden
unpleasanties you'll find out when it's too late.

With any 3d party broker or...'deal', 9 times out of 10
you can do better yourself by booking yourself.

Do your homework. Check the websites of the properties
    you're interested in. Compare rates...choose one/book one.
Remember, you can always cancel at no charge if you do it
    in the time allowded...NO PROBLEM.

In the case of a CET/HARRAH'S property, not only put your
dates in the homepage calendar, but again in their HOT DEALS
page. Many times, one will be much cheaper than the other.
The other advantage is you can upgragde when you get there,
take advantage of any deals they migh be offering...you can't
do any of this with a broker booking. Once you've booked, you're
locked in to whatever program they've set up.

Another thing to remember is...after you've made your room booking,
check back from time to time with your dates. Rates do go down
many times. Just call 'em up, give them your confirmation number and
request to re book to the lower rate...NO PROBLEM.
