    My Trip Report

    Day 1
Checked in at the Gold Coast, everything going great. Room was clean and in good order. Took the free shuttle over to the strip. Had dinner at Ellis Island, a little off the strip but worth it.
( note: get a Ellis Island players card they have food specials for card holders. ) I had the prime rib and a root beer , MMM good.
Then I walked the south end of the strip. Paris had some free acts in the shopping area, lots of free fun. Other casinos and interesting architecture to see.
Took the shuttle back to the Gold Coast.
    Day 2
Had Breakfast at the buffet at the Gold Coast for $4.45 well worth the money. Spent most of the morning driving around the western part of Las Vegas just looking around.
Wsa going to see Mac King in the afternoon , but talked to people at the shuttle stop and they said see Ron Lucas. So I walk acroos the street to the Rio. ( get a players card and ask for a discount coupon you can see the show for the price of a drink) Laughed myself sick.
After the show walked back to the Gold Coast and got the shuttle to the Orleans for dinner. Had dinner at the buffet good food and worth the price. Then got the shuttle to the strip.
This evening I walked the north centeral part of the strip. (warning do not they to break in a new pair of shoes)The show at Treasure Island is great get there early for a good spot. My feet hurt so much I called it a night.
    Day 3
Last Chance to see and do something.
Had breakast at the buffet at Arizona Charlie's West , Not as good as the buffet at the Gold Coast, in either taste or selection. Then it was back to the room to get my bags and load the car. After check out I drove the strip and around the downtown town area before heading out of town.

There was a lot of work going on when I was there.
I came via Mojave and did some looking around at the aircraft bone yard, so lost track of time. If I had to give about 7 HRS to get to Las Vegas from here. [IMG]
