Sitting in McCarren waiting for flight home. I'm not ready to go yet.
I hate that l-am-leaving-Vegas-and-now-heading-back-to-the-real-world feeling, unless I've won big and I'm glad I had a good time and am bringing almost all of my winnings home, which happened once, last August for my 50th birthday trip. My way for dealing with it is to take some Vegas, Wynn, Casino Player etc. magazines with me on the plane, some Wynn stationary and a pen and plan my next trip, with a fair amount of detail, while flying. By the time I land four+ hours later my next trip is planned and when I get home to my apartment I'm booking a flight. By then I'm back transitioning into the real world and ready to get back to work the next day, grateful that I had a great time (whether I lost or won) in Vegas.
Can't wait to hear about your trip.
Happens to me every time I leave. It really is depressing. The best way to get over it is to plan the next trip!
Yeah it's always a bad feeling when sat at McCarren waiting for your flight.
What NevrSumR said, start planning the next one!
I hate leaving Vegas and seeing all the people who are just getting there all excited and happy! I'm usually leaving broke too so that doesn't help things lol
