    My Trip Report

got here yest and 1 hr wait at rental car, 20 min wait at paris checkin. had cheap trip (275 pp RT air and 3 nights paris from okc, ok), with cheapest paris room, luxury, asked for comp upgrade and given I believe red room with the P at the end of the room #, the corner, not bad. did give twenty but didn't have too.
first thing big nap, made reservation at palm for six, woke up 10 till 6, damn. plans were lobster dinner for 2 for 79$, a suggestion I got o this board. wife says she doesn't want lobster, music to my ears. she got the salmon filet and really liked it. the 4 lb lobster wasn't that much tail, good thing the claws were big. nice dinner
then Carrot Top , against wifes wishes, bkut we both enjoyed it. then poker at the orleans, not much luck, but got drunk, played several hours and together we only lost about 140. some people give good reports on the orleans buffet, and cafe, I have had both over the yrs and you get what you pay for there is my opinion. ate the cafe there at 2 am, was pretty plain but steak and eggs for 6 bucks, what do you expect? hopefully more tomorrow.

Seems like everyone is going to be in Vegas this week. I'll be there Thursday morning. Good trip report so far. Poker while drunk sounds like a great time!

Up late gambling and eating...that's what I like to hear! I'll be heading into town with my family tomorrow...staying at the Mirage. I've got 3 kids in tow this trip, so doubt I will be able to do my usual all nighters.

yest spent a few hours running around then lunch time we were by silver ton, hadn't been there before so in for lunch, cool, not smokey, not crowded, good drink service (black jack), friendly dealers. meant to hit mi casa but closed so did buffet, it was mehh.
to the mob museum at tropicana, it was ok.
then to room, then wynn for buffet then le reve.
I am a buffet person, my first time at wynn, nothing special, over pricey , doubt if I do it again. le reve, well, let me say that I am a red neck, so it was mehh.
walked and gambled our way back to paris over the next few hours, no luck, seems every casino had poor drink service, had no real luck either. hit paris and wanted to play some craps. only luck of the nite, but lost it back, left 110 bucks ahead, poorest drink service of the nite. and suprised it was $5 craps at 2am.

wednesday, slept in, ballys for a little craps, no luck drink service not bad. bought wife a chandelier? at some little shop (f'in alcohol!), ran around town in car, lost buzz, bellagio buffet at 330(paid lunch price for dinner), then a full belly and ....nap time.

then downtown, no luck anywhere, got drunk some good band, walk around, then in n out burger-wife insisted I try one- not bad. down a couple hundred for the day and one chandelier. home tomorrow.
best drink service the whole trip was orleans, and silver ton. ballys not bad, ever where else not good. thinking about bringing my eight y.o. on fall break, and staying downtown, a first for me.
